Hilltop observatory
This proposal for an observatory aims to develop a dialogue with the topography of the site's surrounding, in order to achieve a horizontal landmark rather than a vertical one.
It is basically a frame structure that harmoniously maintains the skyline as a direct duration to the hills seamed from the old city of Jerusalem.
The concept of the design offers a unique and dramatic climbing experience to a higher panoramic observatory that overlooks the entire area.
The whole frame is situated on a platform of an artificial topography made of wooden deck meshes. This platform functions as both sitting places for the outdoor stage and an alternative public open space to the lawns of the future peace monument park on the western side of the area.
